Start a Wood CommissionThe Craft
Every Legacy hood begins as a full-scale drawing pinned to the workshop wall, drafted in a room that hasn't changed much since the 1970s. From there, sheet metal is cut, formed over hardwood bucks, and worked by hand — hammer by hammer, rivet by rivet.
We don't mass-produce. We don't outsource. And we don't hide behind marketing language — every hood is signed and dated on the interior flue by the metalsmith who built it.
The Process

A 30-minute call to understand your kitchen, your appliance, and your aesthetic direction. Zero cost, zero pressure.

Samples shipped to your door. Feel the weight, see the patina, choose the finish that will age with your home.
Your hood is built over four to five weeks in our workshop by a single metalsmith. Progress photos every Friday.
Crated, freighted, and delivered curbside or coordinated with your installer. Full installation guide included.
Signed and dated on the interior. Every hood is registered under your name, warrantied for 25 years on materials.
